One of my favorite things to do with my kids is read books together. I read to them, they read to me, sometimes they read to each other. Books are a huge part of our life, even if getting my oldest to read is like pulling teeth sometimes. Our favorite books change often, and right now we have an awesome rotation that we love. With reading month coming up, I figured it was a perfect time to share!

This book is so cute, and it had us giggling throughout the story. You can also buy a hippopotamus stuffy to go with it, making it the perfect gift for kids. The Hiccupotamus is written by a Michigan author, making it even more dear to my heart.

Our kids should always know they have choices, and this book is an awesome reminder.
