Soppycid Reusable Water Balloons

Water balloons are messy, bad for the environment, and can be tricky to fill up. If you’re sick of cleaning rubber one-time-use water balloons, the Soppycid Reusable Water Balloons are the way to go!

*I received the Soppycid Reusable Water Balloons free of purchase in exchange for posting about them, however my opinions are 100% my own. The post includes affiliate links.*

The Best Mess-Free Water Balloons: Soppycid Reusable Water Balloons

The Soppycid Reusable Water Balloons are easy to use and don’t hurt when the kids throw them at each other. They are high-quality, and I love that they’re made in bright colors so we can easily find them after they’re thrown. These balloons fill in literally just a second,

I love that there’s no leaking when the water is inside them. The magnets hold the balloons together really well, so you don’t have to worry about them breaking open before you’re ready.

These balloons come with a carrying pouch made of mesh so they can dry out without getting slimy or moldy. The pouch also makes it easy to take them with you without them getting scattered all over or lost.

These Reusable Water Balloons have been awarded “Toy Insider Top Summer Toy 2023”. The company claims the balloons can be reused 1000 or more times, but I can’t attest to that yet, LOL. So far they’re holding up great and still look brand new after a week of lots and lots of use.

Reusable Water Balloons Are The Perfect Gift For Kids

Choosing these water balloons as a gift for a kid (over the age of 3) is a great idea. They’ll love how easy they are to use and will get hours of fun out of them.

Safety Tips For Reusable Water Balloons

The magnets in the reusable water balloons can be a serious concern. If these magnets are swallowed, injury or death could occur. To avoid the dangers, make sure you don’t let children under 3 play with them. Plus, throw them away immediately if you notice any damage because it could mean a magnet will come free.

5 Heartwarming Gifts to Wow Your Loved Ones

When it’s a loved one’s birthday or any special occasion, you want to show them how much you care. With heartwarming gifts like the ones below, you can be sure to wow your loved one, whatever you may be celebrating. From experiences to physical gifts, here are a few ideas to put a smile on your loved one’s face.

heartwarming gifts

Outdoor gear

If you have a loved one who loves to be outside practicing sports of any kind, there’s nothing better than buying that individual some outdoor gear that coincides with their hobbies. A lot of outdoor hobbies like rock climbing and mountain biking require expensive gear for them to be practiced.

So as you can imagine receiving a gift of one of those expensive pieces for a birthday or special occasion can certainly put a smile on your loved one’s face. If you don’t know what exactly they need for their sports, a gift card to their favorite outdoor store is just as good a gift.

Sweets

If you want to keep it simple yet also show your family member that you’re thinking of them, why not send cookies or a gift basket full of all their favorite items such as wines or chocolates or anything of the sort that you know they would appreciate? Everybody loves to receive something sweet, whether that is actual sweets or something that they really enjoy, so look up local cookie delivery companies or something similar so you can surprise your loved one with a nice treat on their special day.

A book subscription

For the book lovers in your life, you can’t go wrong by gifting them a book. But if you want to give them a gift that will last all year long but does not require that much investment, a book subscription is something that they will certainly enjoy. They can pick the kind of books that they love and choose the authors they admire, and while you may lose them to books for a while, it will be worth it for the extra love they will return you’re away for such an amazing gift.

A trip

Whether you’re celebrating your teenager’s graduation or saying I love you again to your spouse on an anniversary, there’s nothing quite like a trip planned to make a big impact on your loved one. It could be a simple trip nearby or it could be one that you take across the ocean to a destination you know that they’ve been dying to visit.

Granted this is something that you’ll have to save up for, but if the occasion warrants it, you can be sure that they will be wowed. No doubt about that. Look up the best and cheapest flights and if you have points, consider using them for the trip. An Airbnb can help you save money as well, so look into local rentals for your lodging when trying to go big but also do something sweet for your family or friends.

Concert tickets

Free Shadow Depth of Field Photography of Blue Box Stock Photo

Something that many people will happily receive is concert tickets. If your loved one has a favorite artist or band and you know that they’re coming into town sometime this year, why not splurge a little and get them tickets to a concert that they will never forget?

Along the same lines, some people are avid sports fans and will appreciate the ability to go to their favorite sports game in a live match at the local stadium. If you know that your loved one doesn’t get to do these kinds of things often, you can definitely be sure that they will appreciate this gift very much.

In Conclusion: Heartwarming Gifts

All of these heartwarming gifts are bound to amaze your friends and loved ones. Whatever the occasion, a special treat is always a good idea!

4 Gift Ideas For The Kids Who Have Too Many Toys

Has there been a generational shift that we’ve not been aware of? Does it seem like kids have way too many toys, whereas it felt like we had fewer? Or did we have just as many but weren’t aware of it? Either way, if you’re running out of space for toys, some gifts can delight your kids just as much.

Get crafty with it

There are many different types of play, and ensuring your child can get their fill of each can lead to a much more fulfilling early life. To that end, you might want to look at sets for the various arts and crafts that they can get into, whether they’re painting sets, pottery sets, baking and cooking sets, or otherwise. Getting your kids into arts and crafts can unlock a creative side of them ready to flourish as they grow.

Fun and interesting subscription boxes for kids with too many toys

What’s better than giving your kid a gift just once? Giving them a gift that keeps on coming is the best! That’s precisely what some of these subscription box gifts can offer – a monthly treat to look forward to each time the delivery date comes around. There are many craft examples, of course, but there are subscription kits for all kinds of gifts. You can choose kids about science, books, selfies, baking, and more. You’re sure to be able to find the subscription box that fits your child’s interest.

Candy with a difference

Kids love candy, but filling their stockings with candy found in the store five minutes away isn’t very exciting. What is exciting, however, is allowing them to try out things they’ve never had before. Importing rare and otherwise unavailable candy, like taking the time to buy Canadian chocolate bars, is going to be a much more exciting experience. Just be careful, you might end up finding them some new favorites that they’re going to keep asking for.

An experience they will love

While it’s a good idea to get your kid something tangible so they have something to be excited about opening and holding onto throughout the day, not every gift has to be an object. Experience gifts aren’t just for adults, and you can use them as an opportunity to spend time having fun with your kids. Varying your setting is exciting, whether it’s a trip to the theme park, a water park, or even passes to some of their favorite places, such as aquariums, zoos, or museums.

Recap: Gift Ideas for Those With Too Many Toys

Of course, it’s also worth considering a toy or two for a kid’s Christmas or birthday haul. New and exciting will win out, but the gifts above can ensure you have other ideas in stock, too.

What are some of your favorite non-toy gifts? Leave a comment and let us know. 🙂

4 Proven Ways to Make a Gift More Meaningful

What makes a meaningful gift? Is it the high cost or how much thought went into choosing the perfect item? This topic has generated diverse perspectives. However, what cuts across is the aim to find a special gift the receiver will cherish, whether it is a DIY, purchased, or experiential. Statistics indicate that 36% of gift-givers feel the need to outdo themselves with these presentations. This technique may not be advisable because of the tension it creates. Here are some ways to make your gifts more meaningful. Hopefully, it wouldn’t be something nobody wants.

How to Make a Gift More Meaningful

1. Consider experiential gifts

There has been a lot of discussion over experiential gifts being the most meaningful. While there is no evidence to prove that it is the best among the lot, the following reasons seem to support why people may feel so. First, an experiential gift primarily involves offering an experience rather than an item. Many believe these have more lasting impressions on the receiver than a material gift.

For others, the idea of eliminating waste is why experiential gifts may hold more meaning. The absence of wrapped gifts and boxes is their way of contributing to a green environment. So, if this is what you opt for, there are considerations to make it count even more. If you’re gifting a paid-for vacation abroad, it is advisable to find out if the receiver has a passport to travel. It would take a lot of creativity to find that out. If you are gifting a ticket to a game, it would be best to know if that is their favorite team. Research should focus on an experiential gift for a loved one, so keep this in mind.

2. Connect your gift to the receiver’s interests

Gifts can be meaningful when connected to the receiver’s interests and hobbies. These presents will be cherished and appreciated for a long time. It’s the same if the gift is related to their occupation. For example, if you’re presenting the present to a physician, you can consider a customized stethoscope for personal day-to-day use.

If their hobby is hunting, skiing, gardening, floristry, or other, all you have to do is find the appropriate tools relevant to these activities. If they have a green thumb or love flowers, you can send them unique flowers from popular sites such as lebouquetfleurs.com.

3. Meeting the receiver’s needs to make a gift more meaningful

Sometimes, a gift is meaningful when it meets the receiver’s needs. But how can you determine that in the first place? People have many different needs; therefore, getting it right from the onset can make all the difference. If it is a financial need, would you be in a position to part with a significant sum? Moreover, how much would be enough to meet their financial needs? Undoubtedly, this is tricky, but there is a way to go around it.

If the person to be gifted is someone you know personally, it would be easy to fish for more background information. When the receiver is a struggling parent, you may present them with a grocery shopping gift card for a particular month. That would meet their monthly needs and would mean a lot to them. Some people may be offended when gifted money without any explanation, so keep this in mind. Therefore, when unsure of their reaction, a safer option would be to present the money as a token to buy anything the amount will cover.

4. Passing down a legacy

This type of gifting is popular in families. It creates much more meaning when something that holds value gets passed on from one generation to the next. Things like hand-made family recipe books from parents to older children make meaningful gifts. It could also be a family heirloom passed onto specific genders within the family.

The exciting thing about this type of gifting is the idea of a valuable item having moved through generations. It creates a sense of responsibility to protect the item and ensure it is in excellent condition to pass to the next generation.

Lastly, your gift would be meaningful if when centered around a shared memory. It is best when you’ve been old friends or a family, so feel free to consider this. The longer the relationship has existed, the more memories you can choose between.

An Honest Product Review: Deluxe Collector’s Edition Backgammon Set

This deluxe backgammon set is a collector’s edition and comes in a beautiful navy blue case that you can store all the pieces in. It’s perfect for travel as it folds together nicely and doesn’t take up much space. My family loves games and we never pass up on the opportunity to add a new one to our collection.

We played a few rounds and had so much fun. It quickly became a favorite. This backgammon game is an adult version, but I played it with my daughter six year old and she loved it.

**I received this item for free in exchange for a review, and the post contains affiliate links. However, everything in this post is my personal and honest opinion.**

What I Liked about the Backgammon Set

It’s Perfect For All Ages

With some patience, you can teach your kiddos to play backgammon. My six year old caught on quick and we had a great time together. Old and young can play, making it a family friendly game.

It Can Be a Teaching Tool

My favirotie thing about games is that my kids can learn from them. Of course there are games without a learning component, but I’m always excited to find a beneficial one.

Backgammon was perfect for that. We counted it as her math practice for the day since it involved counting and adding.

What I Didn’t Like

The Instructions Were Confusing

I haven’t played backgammon since I was a kid, so it was a learning experience for me. The directions were a little confusing, and I think the pictures could have been clearer.

However, after reading through them a couple of times (and referencing Google), we figured it out and got started. I had to reference the instructions a few times throughout the game, but I was comfortable by the end.

Collectors Addition Backgammon Set

This Backgammon set was so much fun, and I’m glad my daughter and I got to learn it together. It’s perfect for families, couples, and anyone looking to add a fun game to their collection.
